Do these require installation?

Yes, the two brackets provided need be drilled into the underside of the desk.

How do I know what size to order?

It is best to order a modesty panel that is 6″-12″ shorter than the width of your desk. This allows for the screen to be mounted in between any existing legs supporting the desk.

Is there enough space to run chords over the modesty panel?

Yes, there is s 1″ gap between the modesty panel and the underside of the desk so that any chords can be run under and hid by the modesty panel.
